Barb is a nurse and a certified diabetes educator with more than 35 years experience working with children with diabetes and their families. She has published and spoken about the impact of diabetes on families and how to best teach and support families. Dr. Schreiner loves to explore new ways of sharing information. She is currently core faculty with Capella University and a lead instructor with the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
