At TLC, we know you have goals when you give and we view the administration of your donation as a partnership. It's a humbling experience to be entrusted with a major gift, a trust we take seriously not only to receive and accurately record the financial transfer to TLC, but to accomplish the purpose for the gift as you the donor intended.
Did you know that it is a proven fact that those who give charitably live longer, more fulfilled lives than those who don't give? Your donations make camp possible and that makes life lessons and self-esteem promoting activities possible for the campers of TLC.It is also too big of a task for any one person, and that's why every gift matters and makes you part of Team-TLC!
Capital gifts can also be made as a gift in the name of someone else - another great way of showing your love and support not only of TLC, but of someone you want to have a lasting presence at TLC. We realize that when an honorarium or memorial gift is made that a tremendous amount of love, respect and thoughtfullness went into that contribution and as such, we promise to be good stewards of that gift.
TLC's bunkhouses initially were contructed on a rotating schedule beginning in the early 1950's and all have been renovated a number of times over the decades, including upgrades to comply with the American With Disabilities Act.
After severe storms damaged bunkhouses 1 and 2 in the Spring of 2020, TLC accelerated plans to replace these buildings in 2021. To make way, Bunkhouse 1 and the Real Dormitory will be demolished during the summer of 2021, while Bunkhouse 2 has already been demolished at the first of the year.
The new bunkhouses will be larger than those they replace and are esitmated to cost $1,800,000 each. TLC is inviting those who would like to fund all or poritions of this important project to join us, particularly those who might be interested in naming opportunities.
TLC's president & CEO is willing to make deals and is willing to work with donors to "carve-out" complete bunkhouses or portions of their construction that can be named to meet the needs of TLC's donors, ie: lobbies, individual rooms, furniture, equipment and ammenities.
Funding levels available are as follows:

TLC's Master Plan will provide for maximum flexibility with new developments that can be run automously or simultaneously, depending upon need. The Eagle Trail development is a great example, as it will meet myriad existing needs for housing and program space, that will definitely be used during summer camp, while providing flex space for programs held during the "off-season" months.
"I could not be more excited to be bringing the Eagle Trail Development to TLC," says president & CEO, Stephen Mabry. If you have ever wanted to have a meaningful, naming opportunity at TLC, you could not ask for a more golden opportunity than the cabins and cottages that will be placed along the Eagle Trail staring with the fall of 2021 at TLC.
As we embark upon the historic summer of 2021 and our very first family camp format, there are many new expenses that TLC will be encountering, which are outside of the annual budget.
Send your tax deductible donation to TLC with the item you wish to fund in the memo line or simply write "Family Camp-2021". Totals above are total amounts and any portion or the total may be donated. Donors responding to these needs will be brought to the attention of the families who benefit.
